Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Church

  • What kind of church are you?

We are an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist church. “Independent” means we are self-governing and not part of a denominational hierarchy. “Fundamental” means we believe and stand on the foundational truths of the Bible. “Baptist” reflects our beliefs about salvation, baptism, and the authority of Scripture.

  • What do you believe?

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for

faith and practice. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ

alone—His death, burial, and resurrection. We also believe in the importance of holy

living, the local church, and sharing the Gospel with the world. (A full statement of faith

    is available on our website.)

  • What Bible do you use?

We use the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible in our services and teaching. We

believe it is a faithful and reliable translation of God’s Word for English-speaking people.

  • How is your church governed?

Our church is led by the pastor and operates in a biblical and orderly way. As an independent church, we are not directed by any outside organization, but seek to follow Christ as our head.

Visiting for the First Time

  • What should I expect when I visit?

You can expect a warm welcome, traditional congregational singing, prayer, and clear, straightforward Bible preaching. Our services are centered on honoring God and helping people understand His Word.

  • What should I wear?

Many of our members dress in a traditional and respectful manner for church.

However, you are welcome to come as you are—our desire is for you to feel comfortable and be able to focus on the service.

  • Will I be singled out as a visitor?

We may briefly welcome visitors during the service, but we do not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. You will not be asked to speak or do anything that would embarrass you.

  • How long are your services?

Most services last about 60–75 minutes.

  • Where do I park and enter?

Guest parking is available near the main entrance, and you’ll find friendly greeters ready to help you when you arrive.

Worship & Services

  • What is your music like?

Our music is traditional and Christ-centered, featuring hymns and conservative special music.

Our desire is to honor the Lord and keep the focus on Him in everything we sing and hear.

  • Do you have multiple services each week?

Yes. We have services on Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening, along with Sunday School for all ages.

Each service is a little different, with its own message and emphasis from God’s Word.

For that reason, many who attend enjoy coming to more than one service during the week. You are always welcome to join us for any or all of these times as you are able.

  • Do you livestream or record services?

Some services are available online for those who are unable to attend. At the same time, we believe there is something special about gathering together in person, and we would love to have you join us.

Families & Kids

  • Do you have nursery or childcare?

Yes, we provide a clean, safe, and caring nursery for infants and toddlers during all

    services.

  • What programs are available for children and teens?

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, as well as youth activities designed to help young people grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with the Lord.

During our Sunday morning service, we also have a Junior Church program for children ages four years old through fifth grade.

This service is designed especially for them, with Bible teaching and activities at their level to help them learn and enjoy God’s Word.

  • Is there a check-in process for kids?

We take the safety and care of every child seriously and have appropriate procedures in place to provide a secure environment.

Beliefs & Practices

  • How do I become a member?

Membership is open to those who have trusted Christ as their Savior and have followed Him in believer’s baptism.

If you are interested, we would be glad to speak with you and answer any questions.

  • Do you believe in salvation by faith alone?

Yes. We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works.

Good works are the result of salvation, not the means of obtaining it.

  • What is your position on baptism?

We practice believer’s baptism by immersion, which is a public testimony of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ.

  • What are your standards or convictions?

We believe the Christian life should reflect a desire to honor God in our conduct,  speech, and daily living.

While we teach biblical principles that guide these areas, we also emphasize a genuine, personal relationship with the Lord as the foundation for Christian growth.
